Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for diverse surgical cases
- Perform preoperative assessments and patient education
- Administer and monitor anesthesia throughout procedures
- Respond to intraoperative and perioperative emergencies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Accurately document patient care in Epic EMR
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Schedule - Day shifts only
- No weekends
- No on-call requirements
- Variable start times based on department needs
Qualifications - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active Michigan RN license (required at time of submission)
- NBCRNA certification
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Clean malpractice and licensure history
- Prior CRNA experience required (new graduates not eligible)
- DEA and controlled substance registration (required prior to start)
