We are seeking a dedicated Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our Anesthesiology team in Wyandotte, Michigan. This is a hospital-based role that offers varied shifts, supervised practice, and the chance to provide anesthesia care for adult and geriatric surgical patients in a Level III trauma setting. The facility features 10 operating rooms with supportive RNs and surgical techs, making it an excellent environment for professional growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia for general surgical cases in a hospital setting.
- Work under a supervised CRNA model to ensure patient safety and effective care.
- Provide care primarily for adults and geriatric patients.
- Collaborate with operating room staff, including RNs and Surgical Techs.
- Participate in varied shifts, including options for part-time hours.
- Ensure compliance with all patient care protocols and hospital policies.
Qualifications:
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Required
- Active Michigan RN License - Required
- BLS Certification - Required
- ACLS Certification - Required
- PALS Certification - Required
- AANA Certification - Highly Preferred
- Experience with System Epic EMR - Preferred
- Demonstrated clean malpractice/license history - Required
- Willingness to work varied shifts - Required
- Local candidates preferred - Mileage reimbursement available
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) - Required
License and Certification Requirements:
