Job Details:

  • Provide CRNA coverage at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Pittsburgh, PA

  • Shift options include 7PM-7AM, 3PM-11PM, 14-hour, and 16-hour shifts; 3x12s preferred schedule with ability to mix and match to reach 40 hours if available full-time (no 10-hour shifts considered)

  • Guaranteed work week of 36-38 hours

  • Minimum commitment of 2 days per week or 2 weeks per month

  • Case mix includes: General, Ortho, ENT, Neuro (including craniotomies), Level 1 Trauma, Thoracic, Cardiac/Open Heart, Vascular, Urology, Transplants, EP, GI, and Healthy Peds (10+ months, tongue ties/tonsils, etc.) - must be able to handle all cases

  • EMR system: Epic

  • Care model: Medical direction in a Care Team ratio of 1:3

  • Support staff: MD

  • RN only state; will NOT accept an RN compact license

  • Minimum 5 years of CRNA experience required

  • Active PA license required; will consider licensing for full-time availability or two part-time candidates who equal 1.0 FTE

  • Required certifications: ACLS and BLS

  • PA Child Abuse requirement for license

  • Local candidates within 50 miles of worksite are eligible for consideration

  • Candidates previously employed (W2) with the health network within the past 5 years are not eligible

  • Preferred candidates will also credential at a secondary facility in Natrona Heights, PA
