Assignment Details Role: Locum General Dentist
Locations: Crescent City, CA Eureka, CA Fortuna, CA
Schedule: 4 or 5 days per week, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Duration: Minimum 3-month commitment (extensions available)
Clinical Overview Patient Mix: Approximately 50% pediatric / 50% adult
Practice Setting: High-volume, community health clinics
Scope of Care: Exams, restorations, extractions, preventive care, and patient education
Team Environment: Collaborative clinical and administrative support
Compensation & Locum Benefits Daily rate: $1,100 $1,200 per day
Weekly direct deposit
Travel fully covered, including airfare, housing, rental car, and mileage reimbursement
No call required
Quick decision timeline (typically 7 14 days)
Flexible scheduling with 4- or 5-day workweek options
Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive general dentistry to pediatric and adult patients
Maintain accurate documentation and close charts within 72 hours of visits
Follow clinic protocols and compliance standards
Collaborate with onsite staff to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care
Credentialing & Requirements DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
Active California dental license
Active DEA license required prior to start
Ability to commit to a minimum 3-month assignment
