Job description

Locums CRNA Opportunity NC Position Overview

Seeking two full-time locum CRNAs for a high-acuity assignment at its 989-bed Level 1 Trauma academic medical center. This is an ongoing 13-week assignment beginning July 6, 2026, with exposure to a broad range of complex surgical and procedural cases.

  • Start Date: 07/06/2026
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks with ongoing extension potential
  • Schedule: Primarily 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM 5:00 PM)
  • Frequency: 5 shifts per week
  • Call: None required
  • Credentialing: Approximately days
Requirements
  • Board Certified CRNA
  • Active North Carolina license
  • AANA certification preferred
  • Experience in a Level 1 Trauma environment strongly preferred
  • 2 references preferred at presentation (required post-interview for offer)
  • COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Clinical Scope

Providers will work across a variety of high-acuity service lines, including:

  • GI
  • Cardiac
  • Radiation Oncology
  • MRI
  • Burns
  • Neuro

No OB or Pediatrics.
The facility is flexible and may align assignments with individual provider strengths and experience. CRNAs work alongside anesthesiologists and experienced CRNA support teams.
