Position Summary
We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia coverage for a healthcare facility in Boston, Massachusetts. This assignment offers a consistent weekday schedule with no call or weekend responsibilities, making it an excellent opportunity for both experienced CRNAs and new graduates seeking a supportive clinical environment.
The provider will primarily manage routine bread and butter ear and eye cases in a collaborative perioperative setting.
Position Details
- Start Date: July
- Coverage needed through September with potential ongoing extension
- Minimum commitment of 2 shifts per week required
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Shift hours: 12:00 PM 8:00 PM
- No call responsibilities
- No weekend coverage required
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for ear and eye surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia patient assessments and evaluations
- Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures and recovery phases
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and perioperative staff
- Ensure safe and effective anesthesia care in accordance with facility protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system
- Provide patient-centered care while adhering to quality and safety standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited CRNA program
- Current CRNA certification required
- Active Massachusetts license required at time of submission
- ACLS certification required
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
