Position Summary

We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia coverage for a healthcare facility in Boston, Massachusetts. This assignment offers a consistent weekday schedule with no call or weekend responsibilities, making it an excellent opportunity for both experienced CRNAs and new graduates seeking a supportive clinical environment.

The provider will primarily manage routine bread and butter ear and eye cases in a collaborative perioperative setting.

Position Details
  • Start Date: July
  • Coverage needed through September with potential ongoing extension
  • Minimum commitment of 2 shifts per week required
  • Monday through Friday schedule
  • Shift hours: 12:00 PM 8:00 PM
  • No call responsibilities
  • No weekend coverage required
Responsibilities
  • Administer anesthesia for ear and eye surgical procedures
  • Perform pre-anesthesia patient assessments and evaluations
  • Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures and recovery phases
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and perioperative staff
  • Ensure safe and effective anesthesia care in accordance with facility protocols
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system
  • Provide patient-centered care while adhering to quality and safety standards
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited CRNA program
  • Current CRNA certification required
  • Active Massachusetts license required at time of submission
  • ACLS certification required
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
