Locum Psychiatrist to provide services within a
correctional health setting supporting
Dauphin County Prison and York County facilities in Pennsylvania.
This is a
part-time locum opportunity (16 hours per week) with a flexible schedule and a collaborative behavioral health team.
Position Details
- Location: Dauphin County Prison & York, PA
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: March 30, 2026
- Schedule: 2 shifts per week (16 hours total)
- Shift Options: Monday Friday between 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Shift Length: 8 hours
Compensation
- Rate: To be discussed at time of interview
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management within a correctional health setting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team including psychologists, counselors, and social workers
- Manage medication treatment plans for incarcerated patients
- Support continuity of care and mental health stabilization

Board Eligible or Board Certified

1+ year of experience - Eligible for Pennsylvania licensure
