CERTIFIED REGISTERED NURSE ANESTHETIST

POSITION SUMMARY
The organization seeks an anesthesia professional to support an outpatient surgical facility operating on a weekday schedule. The role includes providing anesthesia services for scheduled and urgent procedures, conducting pre operative evaluations, delivering postoperative assessments, and collaborating with anesthesiologists and clinical staff. Additional responsibilities involve maintaining patient safety, responding to airway and life support needs, and contributing to educational activities for student nurse anesthetists.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Graduation from an approved nursing program and completion of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Current or obtainable RN licensure in South Carolina
• Successful completion of the national certification examination in nurse anesthesiology
• Compliance with ongoing recertification requirements
• Official state recognition to practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
COMPETENCIES
• Ability to administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care
• Skill in conducting pre operative assessments and postoperative evaluations
• Capacity to collaborate with anesthesiologists across a range of surgical cases
• Proficiency in airway management and life support response

WORK SETTING & ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment: Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC); Outpatient
• Weekday surgical schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays
• Collaboration with anesthesiologists and multidisciplinary clinical teams
• Perioperative care within a multi suite outpatient surgical facility
• Use of modern diagnostic tools and industry standard EMR
• Support for educational activities involving student nurse anesthetists
