Overview
A hospital-based opportunity is available for a Pediatric Anesthesiologist to provide operating room coverage during a maternity leave. This role includes pediatric anesthesia cases involving neonatal through adult patients, with a mix of solo practice and CRNA supervision.
Compensation:
$425/hr

Hospital-based operating room setting
Level I Trauma Center
14 operating rooms
Care model includes both solo practice and CRNA supervision
Patient population includes neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients
Case Volume
Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia for pediatric and neonatal surgical cases
Supervise CRNAs within a care team model
Manage ventilation and perioperative anesthesia care
Collaborate with surgical, nursing, and perioperative teams
Required Case Experience
Neonatal general surgical cases
Pediatric general surgical cases
Adult general surgical cases
Thoracic cases (excluding open heart)
Complex orthopedic cases
Neurosurgical cases
Ventilation management
Preferred Experience
Requirements
Board Certified in Pediatric Anesthesiology Required
Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship Required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS Required
Active Ohio License Highly Preferred
NPDB Self-Query within 30 days Required
