JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: Board Certified Medical Oncology (Required); Board Certified Hematology (Highly Preferred)
  • Licenses: Active Virginia License (Required)
  • Certifications: BLS (Required)
  • Other Qualifications: Must maintain COI coverage of $2.6M/$7.8M if requested by facility
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient hematology & oncology coverage.
  • Manage adult and geriatric patient populations with a 70% oncology/30% hematology mix.
  • Round on hospitalized patients (2-8 per day) and see clinic patients (12-25 per day).
  • Participate in weekend call coverage from Friday 5p to Monday 7a.
  • Document patient encounters using Epic EMR.
