We are seeking a Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician for outpatient locum coverage in California. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule in a collaborative urgent care / primary care clinic setting.
Assignment Details:
- Start: June 2026
- 13-week assignment
- Outpatient clinic coverage
Schedule:
- Monday Friday
- 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- No call
- Day shifts only
Practice Setting:
- Outpatient urgent care / primary care clinic
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Physician and APP support onsite
- EMR: NextGen
Work Details:
- Patient volume: patients/day
- Primary care-focused coverage
Procedures Include:
- PAPs
- Cryotherapy
- Punch biopsies
- Simple wound care
- Joint injections (optional for some providers)
- Toenail removal
- Birth control prescribing
Requirements:
- MD/DO Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Active California license required
