We only need one provider,
preferably one who holds an active IN license. Below are the exact dates that we need coverage for. Please only submit the candidate if they can cover most of the below dates.
- September 16 ( 10:30p ) -24 ( 7:30a)
- October 11 ( 10:30p ) -20 ( 7:30a)
- December 10 ( 10:30p ) -16 ( 7:30a)
We will need a minimum of 12 additional shifts or 108 hours a month of locum coverage beginning in September.
Clarifications:
1. What is the average census/volume during the 10:30 PM 7:30 AM night shift? The average volume is 2 patients per hour.
2. Are you only accepting ABEM/AOBEM Emergency Medicine physicians, or would you also consider IM/FM physicians with recent ED experience? ABEM/AOBEM only
3. How many other ED physicians are scheduled during this shift? Double and triple covered until 2am then single coverage from 2am-6am. There is another physician at the other location available for consultation.
4. Will locum travel to satellite clinics? This is marked Yes. Is this correct? It is possible but we are trying to limit.
5. What is the annual volume ? 42k at the primary campus
6. Shift timing is 10:30p-7:30a. This is a 9 hr. shift and cannot be changed.
7. Would an IMLC be accepted for a submitted candidate who is willing to be licensed in IN? Yes
8. Is there any flexibility for a higher bill rate if needed? Not at this point.
9. Is this an ongoing need, or are you only seeking coverage for the dates currently listed? Currently we are hiring for the specific dates posted in the job. There maybe future dates but we don t know as of now
10. Are temporary privileges available? No
11. Is CSR (Controlled Substance Registration) required prior to start? Yes
12. What is the minimum monthly availability you would consider for a locum physician? They need to be available for the specific dates posted in the job.
will there be a PA on the night shift or any support at night? We have APP coverage 6a-4p and 4p-2a each day.
Candidate Requirements- Active IN State License or IMLC.
- Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible (Certification must be obtained within 5 years of residency).

- Flu vaccination: Required or Need Medical or religious exemption.
- Covid vaccination: Required or Need Medical or religious exemption.
- Certifications: ACLS - Required if requesting conscious sedation privileges, BLS Required for all specialties.
