Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Endoscopy / GI Lab to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform endoscopic procedures and assist in complex endoscopy interventions.
- Administer and monitor conscious sedation and maintain patient safety.
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias during procedures effectively.
- Handle and label specimens accurately for laboratory analysis.
- Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care and monitoring.
- Document patient care activities and outcomes using Epic charting system.
Qualifications
- BSN required with a valid CA RN license.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in GI/Endoscopy.
- Proficiency in administering conscious sedation and monitoring.
- Experience with bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, and EGD preferred.
- Familiarity with using Epic for electronic charting.
