Transfusion Medicine Pathology locum tenens opportunity in North Carolina. Ongoing coverage at a Level I trauma center supporting an established blood bank and transfusion medicine program.
Assignment Details
- Location: North Carolina
- Setting: Inpatient / Hospital (Level I Trauma Center)
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed ( 30-60 days)
- Contract Type: 3-6 months (ongoing need during recruitment)

Schedule
- Full-time, weekday onsite coverage
- Rotating night and weekend call
Clinical Details
- Scope includes transfusion medicine and blood bank services
- Procedures: Pre-transfusion services, apheresis, donor services
- EMR: Epic
- Collaborative team of 4 clinical pathologists
Requirements
- Board Certified in Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine (ABP subspecialty required)
- Active North Carolina license (or IMLC with ability to obtain)
- Active DEA (NC)
- 3-5+ years of experience (required)
- Clean malpractice and background preferred
