Common models include:

  • 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off ( shifts/month)
  • Clinic + hospital coverage mix
  • Monday Friday clinic coverage with rotating call
  • Some sites include night call coverage during on-service weeks
  • Select sites offer no-weekend call structures
Patient Volume
  • patients per day in clinic (varies by site)
  • Hospital deliveries and inpatient OB coverage as applicable
Clinical Scope
  • Full-scope OBGYN including:
    • Prenatal care
    • Labor & delivery
    • Gynecologic care
    • Emergency OB coverage
  • C-sections and standard OB/GYN procedures depending on facility
  • Collaboration with CNMs and APPs at select sites
Procedures
  • Vaginal deliveries
  • C-sections (site dependent)
  • GYN procedures in clinic and OR settings
  • OB hospital coverage and consults
EMR
  • Meditech or EPIC (varies by site)
Licensure
  • Active state license preferred (NC, GA, or eligible states)
  • IMLC accepted at select locations
  • Multi-state licensure strongly preferred
Certifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in OBGYN
  • BLS required
Job Description

Seeking experienced OBGYN physicians for ongoing locum tenens opportunities across North Carolina, Georgia, and additional Southeastern U.S. locations. Providers will support both outpatient clinic operations and inpatient hospital labor & delivery coverage. These roles offer a mix of scheduled clinic work, hospital call responsibilities, and procedural OB/GYN care in well-supported, team-based environments.

Ideal Candidate
  • 2+ years OBGYN clinical experience preferred
  • Comfortable with both clinic and hospital-based OB coverage
  • Strong procedural and delivery experience
  • Ability to work independently in varied coverage models
  • Collaborative and patient-centered approach
