excellent CRNA locum opportunity at a highly respected Level I Trauma Center in Pennsylvania. This position offers competitive compensation, a consistent weekend schedule, and exposure to a diverse and challenging case mix in a collaborative anesthesia team environment.
Position Highlights:
• Compensation: $175-$200 per hour, based on experience and availability
• Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Coverage Need: Full-time ongoing coverage beginning July 5th
• Contract Length: Through the end of the current approval period with extension potential
• Practice Setting: Large hospital with 593 beds
• EMR: Epic
• Credentialing: Approximately 90 days; expedited credentialing and temporary privileges may be available for providers with a clean file and leadership approval
Clinical Environment:
As a CRNA, you'll work within a medically directed anesthesia care team model (typically 1:3, maximum 1:4) alongside experienced anesthesiologists and surgeons. This facility offers a broad scope of practice and exposure to a wide variety of cases, including:
• Trauma
• Neuro and Spine
• Cardiac and Thoracic
• Vascular
• OB/GYN
• Pediatrics
• Orthopedics
• Robotics
• GI and General Surgery
• Non-Operating Room Anesthesia (NORA)
CRNAs perform epidurals independently and utilize skills including GETA, MAC, Regional, Spinal, and Ultrasound-guided techniques. Please note that CRNAs do not perform nerve blocks at this facility.
Requirements:
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Active Pennsylvania License or IMLC Letter of Qualification in hand
• ACLS and PALS certifications required
• Two years of experience preferred
