Call & Schedule:
- Outpatient clinic hours: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- After-hours answering service; only urgent calls are escalated
- Call is only for MCGC location
- No heavy inpatient call burden
- We need someone to start is as soon as possible (March), and fulltime is prefer. If there is limited availability (2 days per week) the person must be available to respond to calls from staff regarding their patients. The assignment length initially is anticipated through June.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient Hematology and Medical Oncology care
- Manage new consultations (30-45 minutes) and follow-up visits (15-20 minutes)
- Collaborate closely with radiation oncology, surgical specialists, and hospital teams
- Participate in multidisciplinary care planning
- Inpatient care supported by private practice APPs
- No required procedures
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified (ABMS board-certified or board-eligible)
- Active OH license
- Comfortable working within multidisciplinary teams
- Self query NPDB
