Shift & Schedule
- Night Shift: 5:45 PM 6:00 AM
- 36 Guaranteed Hours Per Week
- Every 2 out of 3 weekends required
- Block scheduling available
- Up to 3 shifts may be canceled without charge based on patient census
- Holiday coverage required
- On-call responsibilities may apply
Start Date
Typical start date is within approximately 2 weeks after offer acceptance and completion of onboarding/credentialing requirements.
Experience Requirements
- Labor & Delivery experience required (Mandatory)
- Minimum experience requirement: Less than 1 year accepted
- Experience in Mother/Baby and Adult Med-Surg preferred
License Requirements
- Active Nebraska Registered Nurse (RN) License
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- PALS
- ATT (as required by facility)

Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for patients across Labor & Delivery, Obstetrics, Mother/Baby, and Med-Surg settings. The RN collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications safely using nursing best practices
- Monitor and document patient conditions and responses
- Provide patient and family education
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic care environment
- Prioritize and coordinate patient care assignments
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to emergencies and critical patient situations as needed

- Active Nebraska RN license required at submission
