What You ll Do
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop personalized care plans
- Administer general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care during surgical procedures
- Monitor patients continuously and respond to anesthesia-related complications
- Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management for adult and geriatric patients
- Document all procedures accurately, initially on paper, transitioning to Epic in June 2026
- Collaborate with OR staff, including RNs and scrub techs, in a hospital setting with 11 ORs
- Support out-of-department services such as cardiology, OB, endoscopy, and radiology procedures
- Participate in a Level 3 trauma center with an estimated 80 ER visits annually
What You Need
Required: - Active RN license in Michigan
- NBCRNA certification (Board Certified CRNA)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred)
- Experience with general surgical, obstetrical, and neurosurgical cases
- Ability to perform procedures like arterial line insertion, IV insertions, and floor intubations
Preferred: - Recent anesthesia or surgical experience
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
