Opportunity:

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia


Job Details:

  • Hospital-based practice setting within a 180-bed facility featuring 11 operating rooms

  • Services include Cardiovascular, Vascular, Neuro, General, ENT (limited pediatrics), Urology, Orthopedics, Robotic, Colo-Rectal, Podiatry, and Plastic surgery

  • Covers out-of-department services including non-invasive cardiology, OB, Endoscopy, and Radiology (CT & MRI)

  • Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized patient care plans

  • Administer general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care

  • Monitor patients during procedures and manage anesthesia complications

  • Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management

  • Maintain accurate documentation per hospital and regulatory standards

  • Schedule consists of 8 or 10-hour day shifts

  • Supervision ratio of 1 MDA to 4 CRNAs

  • Average of 35 surgical cases per day

  • Level 3 Trauma facility with an annual ER volume of approximately 80,000

  • Patient demographic is primarily adult and geriatric with minimal pediatrics

  • Required procedures include General Surgical Cases (Adult), Obstetrical Cases, and Neurosurgical Cases

  • Additional preferred procedures include arterial line insertion, IV insertions, and floor intubations

  • Current RN license and NBCRNA board certification required

  • Master's or Doctorate from an accredited nurse anesthesia program required

  • BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred

  • New graduates are accepted
