13-week contract with options to extendSchedule consists of (4) 10-hour shifts or (3) 12-13 hour shifts per week, plus 1 rotating Saturday each monthWeekly availability required; preference given to candidates who do not rotate weeks on/weeks offWeekend availability preferred including Saturdays and Sundays when possibleAll time off requests must be made upfront; time off exceeding 5 consecutive days will not be approved during summer monthsNo call requiredPatient population ranges from age 13 through end of lifeLevel 1 trauma center with a team of 60 CRNAs, approximately 70 attending anesthesiologists, and 60 anesthesia residentsAnesthesia team covers 33 ORs in the main OR, 16 offsite anesthesia locations, 12 outpatient surgery ORs, and 3-4 stand-alone GI center roomsPractice locations include the main OR, outpatient surgery center, and endoscopy center with the option to practice at any locationInpatient and outpatient practice settingCases will not include open heart/thoracic, pediatrics, obstetrics, or performing peripheral nerve blocksAll CRNA scopes of practice requiredEMR system: Epic (preferred experience)Hospital bed size: 600 bedsMinimum 2 years of experience required; academic background and Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience preferredOutpatient-only candidates will be considered but recent inpatient experience is preferredBoard certification requiredVirginia state license requiredACLS and BLS certifications must be valid and completed through the American Heart Association (AHA)Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates will be consideredTwo professional references or reference contact information must be provided with submittalFacility:
