Position Overview A premier healthcare organization is seeking a
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join a rapidly expanding Level III NICU team at a nationally recognized medical center in metropolitan Atlanta. The program manages 1,400 to 1,500 annual admissions, providing advanced, evidence-based care in a high-volume, collaborative environment alongside neonatologists, dual-boarded specialists, and research nurses.
Key Responsibilities - Manage care for critically ill and premature newborns within a high-acuity Level III NICU and Special Care Nursery.
- Deliver individualized, complex care as part of an elite multidisciplinary team.
- Support newborn stabilization, initial treatment planning, and continuous intensive care management.
- Work 24-hour shifts with scheduling flexibility included.
Requirements - Master s degree or higher in Nursing (MSN).
- Current APRN national specialty certification (NNP).
- Neonatology training/fellowship (Strict requirement, no exemptions).
- Active Georgia medical license, or willingness to obtain (Highly Preferred).
- Active DEA license (Required prior to start date).
- Recent NPDB Self-Query Report (within 30 days active) required for presentation.
- Clear disclosure of any visa support needs (J1/H1B).
- Clean malpractice and licensing history is highly preferred.
