Schedule
- 24-hour in-house call
- Average of 8 calls per day
- Respond to Labor & Delivery and Emergency Department within 10 minutes when required
- Physician arrival required within 30 minutes for emergency conditions or changes in labor status
Clinical Responsibilities
- Labor and delivery coverage
- Inpatient OBGYN care
- Assigned and unassigned patient rounding
- Collaboration with Family Medicine residents and medical students
- Average patient volume: approximately 4-5 patients per day
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible OBGYN
- Active Michigan license required
- IMLC not accepted
- Comfortable working in a teaching environment
