Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Obstetrics (OB) Physician to provide coverage for a very high-volume service within a Women s & Children s style hospital setting. This is a long-term opportunity (1 to 2 years) with emergency credentialing available.


Job Details:

Service line: Obstetrics

Credentialing: Emergency credentialing available

Duration: Long-term (1 to 2 years; until hospital transitions to W2 model)

Schedule:

12 hour shifts

Days: 7a 7p

Nights: 7p 7a

Weekends: 7a 7p / 7p 7a

Commitment Expectations:

Preferred: 4 5 days per week

Minimum: 24 hours (2 shifts) per week + 1 overnight call, ideally. Ability to customize.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive OB coverage for a high-volume labor & delivery service
  • Manage routine and high-risk deliveries
  • Perform C-sections and emergent OB procedures as required
  • Collaborate closely with anesthesia, neonatology, and nursing teams
  • Participate in overnight and weekend call coverage

Requirements:

  • MUST be Board Certified (OB/GYN)
  • Active state license in NJ
  • Active DEA
  • Comfortable managing complex and emergent obstetric cases
