Position Overview:
A facility in South Bend, Indiana is seeking a Board Certified Neurologist to provide inpatient locum tenens coverage. This position is a 100% inpatient role with 24-hour call responsibilities, supporting the neurology team to meet community needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient neurological consultations and management
- Respond to calls and evaluate neurological emergencies
- Perform neurological examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Document patient care in Epic EMR system
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams
- Ensure timely response to inpatient call coverage needs
