Convenient Care Float Nurse Practitioner OpportunityLocation: Narragansett West Warwick Woonsocket South Kingstown, RI - Providence 15mEmployment Type: Full-Time, permanent positionSetting: Outpatient / Ambulatory Care (Float Role) Position OverviewJoin a mission-driven, community health team as a Float Nurse Practitioner providing primary care services across multiple clinic locations. This role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to care for diverse patient populations in a collaborative environment. Position Highlights Float position across multiple clinic sites Provide comprehensive primary care in ambulatory settings Autonomous practice within NP scope Opportunity to precept nurse practitioner students Collaborative, team-based care model Practice Environment Outpatient clinic settings with occasional home-based care Community-focused organization serving diverse populations Team-oriented environment with strong clinical support Exposure to a wide variety of patient cases Clinical Responsibilities Perform: Patient histories and physical exams Diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions Provide: Preventive care and patient education Pediatric anticipatory guidance Maintain accurate and timely medical records Supervise and support assigned NP students Administrative Responsibilities Participate in: Peer chart reviews Departmental and team meetings Support quality improvement and clinical initiatives Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation package Comprehensive benefits offered Opportunities for academic involvement and precepting Qualifications Active Rhode Island RN and Nurse Practitioner licensure ANA Certification in one of the following: Family Medicine Internal Medicine Women's Health Pediatrics Ongoing CEU participation required Work Schedule Includes: Every other weekend commitment Shared holiday coverage Float coverage across multiple locations: Woonsocket West Warwick South Kingstown Work Environment & Requirements Moderate physical activity (standing, walking, procedures) Exposure to infectious diseases and clinical risks Strong communication and interpersonal skills required Bilingual skills (Spanish or Laotian) preferred Ideal Candidate Comfortable working in a float/multi-site role Strong interest in community and population health Able to work independently and collaboratively Passionate about delivering accessible, patient-centered care
