Job Title: Locum Physician - Primary Care
Join a vibrant primary care practice in the coastal town of Manasquan, NJ. This practice offers a supportive environment with a team of five physicians and a mid-level provider. The office is well-equipped with 13 exam rooms, on-site laboratory services, and state-of-the-art EMR documentation. Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult and geriatric patients.
- Perform required general procedures including EKG interpretation and management of acute volume/BP issues.
- Conduct outpatient medicine procedures and occupational medicine tasks such as employment physicals and disability exams.
- Handle an average of three patients per hour, ensuring quality care and patient satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively with fellow physicians to maintain continuity of care during locum coverage.
- Document patient encounters accurately in the Athena EMR system.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified preferred; Board Eligible considered if truly qualified.
- New Jersey State License (required).
- Experience in primary care settings.
- Proficient in adult outpatient procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active NJ State License (required).
- Board Certification preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
- Local providers are required to minimize travel costs.
- Provide a self-query NPDB pulled within the last 30 days at the time of presentation (required).
