Credentialing timeframe: 45-60 days with clean file
Three providers needed
Minimum 3 shifts required
Shift Description Physician shifts: 6 AM - 6 PM; 6 PM - 6 AM
Staffing model: MD/DO 24 hours
Requirements Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with 2 years Emergency Medicine experience
Active Louisiana medical license
Active Louisiana DEA and Controlled Substance license
Residency trained in EM, FM, or IM
ATLS, ACLS, PALS, BALS
Assignment Details 12 ED beds
149-bed hospital
Annual ED volume: 22,000-28,000
Patients per day: 60
EMS: 10.30%
Admissions: 6.60%
Trauma Level III
No scribe coverage
Backup specialties include ENT, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Ortho, Internal Medicine, Radiology, Family Practice, Pathology, Surgery, Pulmonology, Oncology, Hematology
NP/PA coverage: 10 hours per day, 4 days per week
NP/PA shifts: 9 AM - 9 PM (Thursday - Sunday); 8 AM - 6 PM and 12 PM - 10 PM (Monday - Wednesday)
