Job description

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Assignment Length: Ongoing
  • Shift Details:
  • 24 hours/day physician coverage
  • 8 hours/day APC coverage
  • 12-hour shifts standard
  • Moderate volume with opportunity for individualized patient care
  • Licenses/Certs:
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in EM
    • Will consider IM/FM with emergency medicine experience
    • Active Pennsylvania license
    • DEA license
    • BLS, ACLS, and PALS preferred
  • Procedures/Scope:
    • Low- to moderate-volume rural ED ( 12,000 annual visits)
    • 16-bed ED in a 67-bed general hospital
    • Must be confident in rural emergency medicine practice and patient management
  • Experience:
    • EM residency-trained preferred
    • IM/FM candidates must have proven ED experience
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small hospital setting
