Job Title: RN Outpatient Hematology/Oncology
Location: State College, Pennsylvania 16801
Job Type: 13-Week Contract
Schedule: Monday Friday Day Shift No Weekends or Holidays
Shift Hours: Between 7:00 AM 3:30 PM or 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Weekly
Start Timeline: Typical start date is within approximately 2 weeks after offer acceptance and completion of onboarding/credentialing requirements.
Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse for an outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic. The RN will provide direct patient care, administer treatments, assist providers, educate patients and families, and coordinate care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania RN License
- Minimum 1 year of Oncology Nursing experience
- AHA BLS Certification
- ONS Biotherapy/Chemotherapy Certification OR Fundamentals Course required
- Candidate must already have certification or be willing to complete within 2 weeks of hire
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Schedule & Facility Details
- Outpatient clinic setting
- Monday Friday schedule
- No weekends
- No holidays
- No on-call requirement
- Overtime after 40 hours/week
- Facility does not accept 1099 candidates
