12-month assignment with APP support providedClient is open to two providers alternating weeks, but strongly prefers one consistent providerVirtual interviews with service line leadership and OR team to address procedural scope, call expectations, and workflow questionsEMR system: MeditechClinic hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PMShared call structure with offsite response required within 30 minutes for emergency consultations and 12 hours for routine callsAfter-hours call frequency: 1-2 times per week, most commonly for active bleedsAverage of 12-14 procedures per dayGeneral GI procedures include Upper Endoscopies (EGD) and ColonoscopiesAdvanced procedures include ERCP at mid-level/moderate complexitySpecialty procedures include esophageal, duodenal, and luminal stent placement, argon plasma coagulation, biopsies of the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, and colon, colonoscopy with or without polypectomy, diagnostic and therapeutic EGD, enteral alimentation, esophageal dilation, foreign body removal via EGD, flexible sigmoidoscopy, GI motility studies and 24-hour pH monitoring, non-variceal hemostasis (upper and lower), and percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG)Patient population is complex and often non-compliant; providers with strong relationship-building and communication skills are highly preferredPleasant and kind organizational cultureFacility:
