A not-for-profit, rural critical access hospital in northeastern Vermont along the New Hampshire border, is seeking a BC/BE Cardiologist to join a collaborative specialty clinic team providing comprehensive non-invasive cardiology care in a patient-centered, community-focused environment.
Details/Responsibilities:
- Primarily outpatient cardiology practice with limited inpatient consults
- Monday Friday daytime schedule with excellent work-life balance
- Oversight and interpretation of echocardiograms, stress testing, and cardiac monitoring
- Support for cardiac rehab program, including review and documentation oversight
- Work closely with cardiac device clinic (2 days per week), supporting pacemaker and ICD management
- Opportunity to perform cardioversion and TEE (preferred but optional)
- Collaboration with primary care, emergency medicine, hospitalists, and specialty teams
- Strong emphasis on team-based, rural community care delivery
- Serve a patient population across a close-knit regional community
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
- Proficiency in non-invasive cardiology including echo and stress test interpretation
- Eligible for Vermont medical licensure
- Commitment to rural healthcare and underserved populations
- Experience with adult cardiology care (18+)
