Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Job description

  • Work Dates Needed: 8/1/2026 - 7/31/2028 with option to extend
  • Preferred Schedule: 8am to 4:30pm w/30-minute lunch break and 2 (15min) breaks. Monday - Friday. No weekends or holidays.
  • Worksite Setting: VA Hospital/Clinic
  • Scope of Work: evaluate and treat patients, interpretation of diagnostic studies, labs, imaging, electrocardiographic exams and ordering medications, abscess incision and drainage, etc.
  • Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Any state RN/APRN licenses, DEA, BC, BLS, ACLS. Fingerprinting, security clearance, current immunization record.
  • EMR: RPMS/CPRS
  • Pay Rate Preferred: $83.00/hour Local or drive-in candidate preferred.
