- Client is open to two providers alternating weeks, but strongly prefers one consistent provider
Interviews:
- Virtual interviews with the service line leadership and OR
- Excellent opportunity to address procedural scope, call expectations, and workflow questions
- Support Staff:
- APP support provided
Schedule
- Clinic Hours: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Call Structure: Shared with the other provider
- On site or off site: offsite (response within 30 min for Emergency Consultation 12 hours for routine
- How often is the provider called in after hours? 1-2 x/week
- Most common reasons for call: active bleed

Specialty Procedures Performed
- Esophageal, duodenal, or luminal stent placement
- Argon plasma coagulation
- Biopsies of the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, and colon
- Colonoscopy with or without polypectomy
- Diagnostic and therapeutic EGD
- Enteral alimentation
- Esophageal dilation (balloon, bougie, or Savary with guidewire)
- Foreign body removal via EGD
- Flexible sigmoidoscopy
- GI motility studies and 24-hour pH monitoring
- Non-variceal hemostasis (upper and lower)
- Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG)
- ERCP
- Patient population- non compliant, sick, often bring family members to appts.
