Exciting Locum Opportunity for an Experienced Physician Assistant!
We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) with experience in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery to join a respected hospital-based team in Boston, Massachusetts .
Assignment Details
- Start Date: September 2026
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Schedule: 3 x 12-hour day shifts per week
- Hours: 6:00 AM 6:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
- Typically Wednesday Friday with flexibility to cover Monday/Tuesday as needed
- No Call
- No Nights
- No Weekends
- No Holidays
Practice Setting
- Hospital-based Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery service
- Adult patient population
- Average daily census of approximately 10 patients
- EMR: Epic
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and H&Ps
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans
- Perform bedside procedures as appropriate
- Assess and manage therapeutic interventions
- Develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide ongoing evaluation and follow-up care
- Collaborate closely with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
- Board Certified Physician Assistant
- Active Massachusetts License
- BLS Certification
- 1 2 years of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery experience preferred
- Epic charting experience required
