We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gastroenterologist to join our healthcare team with a health system in Prestonsburg, KY. This assignment would be onsite for 12 months (preferred) and is set to start at the end of September. They prefer someone for full time coverage but they are willing to consider alternating weeks. You can expect an average of 12-14 procedures per day including, general GI, ERCP, and specialty procedures such as, stent placement, biopsies, esophageal dilation, foreign body removal, flexible sigmoidoscopy, non-variceal hemostasis, PEG, enteral alimentation, and argon plasma coagulation. The call structure for this position is shared with another provider and on average, you would only be called in after hours 1-2x/week, most commonly for an active bleed.
The pay range starts at $5000-$5200/day (can include 6-8hrs on site)
Flexible and negotiable based on experience - additional call back rates as well
