What You ll Do: - Provide expert nursing care to neurological surgery patients in a specialized unit
- Assist with neurological assessments and monitoring
- Support APPs on first call responsibilities and holiday coverage
- Administer medications and treatments following physician orders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Document care activities accurately and timely
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
What You Need:
Required:
- Active RN license in North Carolina
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
- Previous experience in neurological or critical care nursing preferred
Preferred:
- Additional certifications such as neuro-specific or advanced life support
- Experience working with APPs and on-call procedures
