What You ll Do
- Provide inpatient OB hospitalist coverage, managing high-risk obstetrical cases.
- Collaborate closely with Certified Nurse Midwives, acting as backup support.
- Handle high-risk deliveries, ensuring patient safety and quality care.
- Respond to callback needs while maintaining proximity (within 15 minutes) to the hospital.
- Work with a multidisciplinary team that includes anesthesiology, neonatology, and MFM specialists.
- Support emergency obstetric and GYN care, including triage and consults.
- Maintain EMR documentation using Meditech.
What You Need
- Active Tennessee medical license
- Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- DEA registration
- Minimum of 2 years recent OB hospitalist experience
- High-risk delivery experience
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced inpatient environment
