Hospitalist Physician Full-Time (W-2) 90 Minutes to Louisville, Lexington & Bowling Green Non-Profit, PSLF Qualified


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hospitalist Physician to join our growing inpatient team in the heart of rural Kentucky. This is an excellent opportunity to practice broad-spectrum hospital medicine while making a meaningful impact on the health of our community.


Position Highlights

  • Full-Time W-2 Employment
  • 168 shifts annually
  • 12-hour shifts
    • Day Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
    • Night Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
  • Collaborative physician and APRN hospitalist team
  • Average physician census of patients
  • Coverage includes:
    • Medical/Surgical Inpatient Units
    • Swing Bed Program
    • 8-Bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Practice Environment

Our Hospitalist team provides comprehensive inpatient care in a collegial environment that values teamwork, communication, and physician leadership. Physicians work closely with experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs), nursing staff, specialists, and hospital administration to ensure exceptional patient outcomes. This position offers the opportunity to practice the full scope of hospital medicine while enjoying the professional satisfaction of serving a rural community where providers truly make a difference.

  • Base Salary of $307,000

Qualifications

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Eligible for Kentucky medical licensure
