Pediatrics Physician

Community Care of North Carolina

Washington, North Carolina, United States

Job description

About Washington Pediatrics, PA

Washington Pediatrics has been a cornerstone of pediatric care in Eastern North Carolina since 1955. Physician-owned and led by Dr. Deborah Ainsworth who has practiced here since 1990 the practice has grown to a team of 2 MDs, 2 PAs, 2 NPs (one part-time), and an embedded behavioral health psychologist, serving more than 7,230 active patients across a six-county region. Provider tenure ranges from 7 to 35 years. This is a practice where physicians build careers.

I started at Washington Pediatrics in 1990, joining 2 other pediatricians. Through the years we have grown the practice to 6 providers, all committed to taking care of the neediest of families. We treat each of our families like they were our own. One of the greatest joys of practicing for 35 years is taking care of the children of my former patients. That trust and connectivity would be difficult in many areas it is vital to our success.
