A true 7-on, 7-off schedule provides predictable blocks of work and time off. This inpatient neurosurgery role combines trauma coverage with elective spine and cranial surgery support.
Practice & Cases:
- Adult inpatient neurosurgery service
- Trauma, stroke, spine, and cranial patient management
- Elective spine and cranial surgery support
- Drain removals, shunt adjustments, and inpatient neurosurgical care
Schedule:
- Monday through Sunday block rotations
- True 7-on, 7-off schedule
- Day or night shifts available based on coverage needs
- Open to night call participation
Requirements:
- Must be a Physician Assistant
- Board Certified in Neurological Surgery
- Active Virginia license required
- ACLS and DEA required
Logistics:
- Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered
- Coverage may be split between Norfolk and Virginia Beach locations
