Job Title: Locum - Physician - OB/GYN Summary

Job Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for OB and Gyn ED.
- Perform deliveries, including C-sections and vaginal births.
- Conduct gynecological surgeries as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Manage patient load of approximately 16-20 per day.
- Respond to patient needs within a 20-minute timeframe from your location.
Qualifications
- Board Certified OBGYN preferred; Board Eligible acceptable if currently staff at a Joint Commission accredited hospital without monitoring.
- Active California medical license is required.
- Completion of residency in OB/GYN or related fields is necessary.
- Additional certifications such as BLS, DEA, NRP/PALS are highly preferred.
- Clean malpractice and background for credentialing is highly preferred.
- Local candidates preferred to avoid flight arrangements.
License and Certification Requirements
- Active California Medical License.
- Board Certification in OB/GYN is highly preferred; Board Eligible accepted if affiliated with another accredited hospital.
- Mandatory self-query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation.
