POSITION SUMMARY
The Department seeks a cardiovascular disease specialist to provide non invasive cardiac services within a multidisciplinary program. The role includes diagnostic evaluation, imaging interpretation, and participation in both outpatient and inpatient care. The position supports a broad patient population and contributes to collaborative cardiovascular management.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine and/or Cardiovascular Disease.
• Residency training in internal medicine.
• Training or experience in non invasive cardiology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Michigan.
• Ability to interpret cardiac imaging studies and manage a range of cardiovascular conditions.
COMPETENCIES
• Skill in non invasive cardiac diagnostics, including echocardiography and stress testing.
• Ability to evaluate and manage diverse cardiovascular presentations.
• Effective collaboration with cardiologists, surgeons, and clinical staff.
• Commitment to patient centered cardiovascular care.
• Capacity to support both outpatient and inpatient clinical services.
WORK SETTING & ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment: Hospital; Inpatient; Outpatient; Clinic/Private Practice
• Non invasive cardiology practice within a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team.
