POSITION SUMMARY
The Department seeks a hematology and medical oncology specialist to join a multidisciplinary cancer program within a large clinical team. The role focuses on hospital based oncology care with opportunities to collaborate across medical, surgical, and radiation oncology services. The position supports a comprehensive program serving a growing patient population and includes participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine and/or Hematology and Medical Oncology.
• Residency training in internal medicine.
• Training or experience in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Idaho.
• Interest in hospital based oncology care within a multidisciplinary program.
COMPETENCIES
• Ability to manage acute and chronic hematologic and oncologic conditions.
• Skill in collaborating with physicians, advanced practice professionals, and clinical support teams.
• Commitment to coordinated, patient centered cancer care.
• Capacity to participate in multidisciplinary case discussions.
• Effective communication within a comprehensive oncology service line.
