NEUROLOGY VASCULAR NEUROLOGY

POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides specialized neurologic care with a focus on cerebrovascular conditions within The Department. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, establishing diagnoses, managing treatment plans, and contributing to high quality clinical services across the regional network. The role functions within a collaborative, patient centered environment and supports the delivery of neurologic care aligned with departmental standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board eligible or board certified in Neurology and/or Vascular Neurology.
• Residency training in neurology.
• Training or experience in Vascular Neurology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Florida.
• Ability to participate in multidisciplinary clinical care activities.
COMPETENCIES
• Ability to manage cerebrovascular and general neurologic conditions in assigned patient populations.
• Skill in conducting neurologic assessments and interpreting diagnostic studies.
• Effective collaboration within multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Capacity to support patient centered care across outpatient and hospital based settings.
• Participation in departmental quality, safety, and operational initiatives.
WORK SETTING & ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment: Hospital; Inpatient; Outpatient; Clinic/Private Practice
• Multidisciplinary neurology team providing cerebrovascular and general neurologic care.
• Care delivered across hospital based and outpatient clinical sites.
• Use of modern diagnostic tools and industry standard EMR.
• Collaboration with nursing, advanced practice, and allied health staff.
• Engagement in departmental operations and quality improvement activities.
