INTERNAL MEDICINE INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGY

POSITION SUMMARY
This role provides comprehensive interventional and general cardiovascular care within a multidisciplinary program. Responsibilities include performing coronary and peripheral vascular interventions, supporting STEMI services, and managing both inpatient and outpatient cardiology patients. The position functions within a collaborative clinical environment with strong institutional resources.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine and/or Cardiovascular Disease.
• Board eligible or board certified in Interventional Cardiology.
• Residency training in internal medicine.
• Fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
• Training or experience in Interventional Cardiology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Florida.
COMPETENCIES
• Ability to perform coronary and peripheral vascular interventional procedures.
• Skill in managing acute cardiac presentations, including STEMI activation pathways.
• Capacity to balance inpatient and outpatient general cardiology responsibilities.
• Effective collaboration with cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with modern diagnostic tools and procedural technologies.

Work Environment: Hospital; Inpatient; Outpatient; Clinic/Private Practice
• Integrated cardiovascular program with interventional and general cardiology services.
• Combination of office based care, inpatient management, and procedural responsibilities.
• Use of advanced imaging technology and industry standard EMR.
• Collaboration with surgical and multidisciplinary specialty teams.
• Participation in structured call coverage for interventional services.
