POSITION SUMMARY
This role provides inpatient cardiovascular care within a dedicated hospital based service. Responsibilities include managing cardiac conditions during a structured block schedule, participating in shared call, and working alongside cardiology hospitalists, advanced practice providers, and fellows. The position functions within a comprehensive cardiac program that offers advanced medical, surgical, and diagnostic services, with opportunities for academic involvement through system affiliated programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine and/or Cardiovascular Disease.
• Residency training in Internal Medicine.
• Fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Illinois.
• Clinical background in inpatient cardiology.
COMPETENCIES
• Proficiency in inpatient cardiovascular evaluation and management.
• Ability to collaborate with cardiologists, fellows, and advanced practice providers.
• Skill in working within a structured block schedule and call rotation.
• Capacity to manage cardiac conditions within a single hospital model.
• Commitment to multidisciplinary cardiovascular care.
