PSYCHIATRY CHILD AND ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRY

POSITION SUMMARY
The Department seeks a child and adolescent psychiatry specialist to provide comprehensive psychiatric services for children, adolescents, and youth within a hospital employed practice. The role includes outpatient care, participation in emergency psychiatric coverage, and involvement in after hours call rotation for adult inpatient units. The position supports a multidisciplinary behavioral health environment with opportunities for collaborative practice.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry and/or Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Residency training in psychiatry.
• Fellowship training in child and adolescent psychiatry.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Missouri.
• Ability to enter into collaborative practice agreements with advanced practice nurses.
• Interest in providing a full spectrum of psychiatric services for youth.
COMPETENCIES
• Ability to evaluate and manage a wide range of psychiatric conditions in children and adolescents.
• Skill in providing outpatient psychiatric care and emergency psychiatric assessment.
• Effective collaboration with advanced practice professionals and multidisciplinary teams.

• Capacity to support call responsibilities within a structured rotation.
