Job Title: Locum Physician - OB/GYN
Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Provide full scope OB/GYN care including deliveries (C-section and vaginal) and gynecological surgeries.
- Manage 24-hour call for OB and Gyn ED without in-house requirements.
- Respond to patient needs within a 20-minute timeframe when on call.
- Collaborate with a dedicated medical assistant and practice manager.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols during patient care.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN (highly preferred); Board Eligible accepted if currently on staff at another Joint Commission hospital.
- Active California medical license (required).
- Completed residency in OB/GYN or Family Medicine (required).
- Additional certifications: BLS, DEA, NRP/PALS (highly preferred).
- Clean malpractice history and background for credentialing (highly preferred).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active California medical license: Required.
- Board Certification in OB/GYN: Highly preferred.
- Current BLS and DEA certifications: Required at the time of credentialing.
- Self-Query NPDB report (dated within 30 days): Required.
