POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides pediatric care across both emergency and inpatient settings within a unified clinical service. Responsibilities include managing acute and hospitalized pediatric patients, supporting continuous physician coverage, and contributing to resident education within The Department. The role functions within a team based environment focused on delivering consistent, high quality pediatric care.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board eligible or board certified in Pediatrics.
• Residency training in pediatrics.
• Clinical background in Pediatrics.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Florida.
• Compliance with citizenship or residency requirements as stated.
COMPETENCIES
• Ability to manage pediatric patients in emergency and inpatient settings.
• Skill in providing continuous, coordinated pediatric care within a single service model.
• Capacity to participate in clinical teaching for resident physicians.
• Effective collaboration within multidisciplinary pediatric teams.
• Ability to utilize industry standard EMR systems.
